The 4 Best Reclaim.ai Alternatives (I Actually Tested Them)

Best Reclaim.ai Alternatives

TLDR:

💡
If you want something closest to what Reclaim already does, get Motion. If Reclaim's aggressive auto-scheduling stresses you out more than it helps, get Sunsama. If your actual problem is a task list scattered across six apps, get Akiflow. And if you'd rather just tell an AI what's going on and have it handle your calendar and tasks proactively instead of configuring rules for it, keep reading to the Saner.ai section.

Here's the full list, then the details on each:

  • Motion: closest like-for-like replacement, AI auto-scheduling
  • Saner.ai: proactive AI assistant that manages your calendar and tasks through conversation, not settings
  • Akiflow: command-bar task aggregator, you drive the scheduling
  • Morgen: cheaper AI scheduler, more calendar providers supported

Why people go looking for a Reclaim.ai replacement

Reclaim genuinely does one thing well: it takes your task list and habits and jams them into whatever gaps your calendar has left, then reshuffles everything when a meeting drops in. For a lot of people that's the whole ballgame. I'm not writing this to talk you out of a tool that works for you.

But three things send people looking elsewhere. They show up constantly in the reviews.

  • The complaint cluster on Trustpilot. recurring reports of a "switch to free forever" button that's buried under the account-deletion flow and doesn't reliably work, calendar events that keep appearing after someone's tried to cancel, and pop-ups people describe as hard to get rid of.
  • You just want something different. Reclaim is built around aggressive automation. Some people find that liberating. Some people find it's making decisions they wanted to make themselves. Both reactions are valid, and they point to genuinely different tools, not just "better" or "worse" versions of the same one.

The Reclaim.ai Alternatives

Motion: closest to what Reclaim already does

Motion auto-schedules your tasks around your calendar the same way Reclaim does, and it's the tool most "Reclaim alternative" lists lead with for exactly that reason.

  • Pricing: Pro AI runs $49/month. There's also a pricier Business AI tier and an "AI Employee" add-on Motion has been pushing as it repositions itself into more of an all-in-one AI workspace.
  • Best for: people managing five-plus concurrent projects with frequent deadline shifts. Motion's core strength is complexity. Not simplicity.
  • The catch: Motion's pricing has gotten really confusing. Multiple independent reviewers in 2026 flag that the page defaults to showing an annual team rate that looks nothing like what an individual pays monthly. The newer AI credit system also means heavy users can burn through their allotment and pay more than the sticker price implies. Mobile lags too. G2 has Motion's mobile experience sitting around 2.7 out of 5 while desktop holds 4.5.
  • Also, the founder has stopped developing the business.

Akiflow: for scattered tasks, not scattered schedules

Akiflow doesn't auto-schedule anything. It pulls tasks in from wherever they're currently living (Asana, Linear, Jira, Slack, Gmail, Notion, dozens more) into one command-bar-driven inbox. You drag them into calendar slots yourself.

  • Pricing: $34/month billed monthly, or $19/month billed annually (about $228/year).
  • Best for: people who already work across a genuinely fragmented tool stack and want one place to see it all, and who don't mind doing the actual time-blocking by hand.
  • The catch: there's a big learning curve, the keyboard-shortcut-heavy interface takes real time to internalize, and the value scales with how many other paid tools you're already juggling. If your tasks mostly live in one place already, you're paying a premium for aggregation you don't need.
  • For me, tbh, the AI quality is quite beta compared to other solutions

Morgen: the budget-conscious AI scheduler

Morgen

Morgen splits the difference: it has AI-assisted scheduling like Motion, at a price closer to Sunsama's lower end, and it connects to more calendar providers than most competitors, including Google, Outlook, iCloud, and Fastmail.

  • Pricing: around $15/month billed annually, roughly $9/month on some reported plans, cheaper across the board than Motion, Akiflow, or Sunsama.
  • Best for: freelancers and small teams juggling calendars across more than one ecosystem, who want automation without Motion's price creep.
  • The catch: it's newer and less established than the others here, with a smaller review base to judge long-term reliability against.
  • No key differentiation compared to other players on this list

Saner.ai: an AI calendar you talk to

Saner.ai actually does the same core job Reclaim does, calendar and task management, it just gets there through a different front door. Reclaim runs in the background on rules you set once. Saner.ai works like an assistant you talk to every day, and it starts the conversation before you do.

  • It's proactive, not just automated. Reclaim waits for you to define habits and priorities, then defends them. Saner's AI, Skai, checks your notes, inbox, and calendar every morning on its own and hands you a proposed plan before you've asked for one. That's the actual difference between "automated" and "proactive." One executes rules. The other notices things and brings them to you.
Saner.ai: an AI calendar you talk to
  • It's still a real calendar and task manager underneath. This isn't a notes app that happens to mention your calendar. Saner syncs Google Calendar and Gmail, turns a braindump directly into scheduled tasks, and you can type or say "plan my day" and watch it lay your notes and to-dos into an actual time-blocked schedule, the same end result Reclaim gives you, just requested in plain language instead of configured through settings.
It's still a real calendar and task manager underneath.
  • The voice is the interface, not a bolt-on chatbot. You don't click through a calendar UI to move things around. You tell Skai what changed, what you forgot, what got added, and it re-threads your day from there.
  • Pricing: free plan available (30 AI messages/month), Starter at $8/month, Standard at $16/month, per Saner.ai's current pricing page.
  • Best for: people who want their calendar and task list managed through conversation and proactive check-ins rather than through rules and settings screens, and especially ADHD brains whose bottleneck is capturing and organizing scattered thoughts before they even reach a calendar.
  • The catch, honestly: the free tier is tight. It also doesn't do Reclaim's specific trick of auto-defragmenting a team's shared meeting load. If cross-team calendar optimization is specifically what you want, this isn't that tool.

Morgen ~$15/mo annual Cheaper AI scheduling, more calendar support want automation on a budget
Saner.ai Free–$16/mo Braindump-to-plan, proactive daily assistant forget tasks exist before they're late

How to actually pick one

Skip the feature comparison chart in your head for a second and ask yourself these instead:

  • Do you want the AI deciding, or do you want to decide? Motion and Saner.AI decide for you. Sunsama and Akiflow want you in the driver's seat. Neither is more "advanced." They're solving for different kinds of control.
  • Is your task list already organized somewhere, or is it in your head? If it's scattered across five apps, Akiflow's aggregation is the actual fix. If it's scattered across your brain and hasn't made it into any app yet, that's a Saner.ai problem, not a calendar problem.
  • Is your real bottleneck meetings, or is it forgetting things exist? These sound similar and they're not. Motion, Reclaim, and Morgen fix the first. Saner.ai and, to an extent, Sunsama's morning ritual, fix the second.
  • How much are you actually willing to pay to solve a scheduling annoyance? Akiflow and Sunsama sit at the premium end. Morgen and Saner.ai's paid tiers sit meaningfully lower. Reclaim's free tier is real and might just be enough. Worth trying before you pay anyone for anything.

FAQ

Is Reclaim.ai still a good tool in 2026? Yes, for a lot of people. The core auto-scheduling engine works, the free plan is genuinely usable, and the G2 reviews back that up. The Trustpilot complaint pattern around cancellation and pop-ups is real enough to know about before you sign up, not a reason to avoid it outright.

What happened to Clockwise? It shut down permanently on March 27, 2026, after Salesforce acquihired the team behind it to work on Agentforce. No data was carried over and there's no successor product. If you were a Clockwise user, you need an actual replacement, not a wait-and-see approach.

Is there a free Reclaim.ai alternative? Reclaim's own free "Lite" tier is real, not a trial. Saner.ai also has a genuine free plan, though the AI message limit is tight for daily use. Motion, Akiflow, and Sunsama don't offer ongoing free tiers, only trials.

Is Saner.ai actually a Reclaim.ai competitor, or something different? Something different, and I said so above because pretending otherwise would be a worse recommendation, not a better one. Reclaim optimizes a calendar that already has your tasks in it. Saner.ai is built for getting the tasks out of your head and into any system in the first place. If Reclaim already does what you need, switching to Saner.ai for calendar optimization specifically would be a downgrade.

Do any of these connect to Outlook, not just Google Calendar? Reclaim added full Outlook support in May 2025. Motion, Akiflow, Sunsama, and Morgen all support Outlook as well. Saner.ai currently focuses more heavily on Google Calendar integration alongside Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive. Check its current integrations page if Outlook is a hard requirement for you.
