Affiliate disclosure

Short version: some links on this site earn me a commission if you click through and buy something. It costs you nothing extra. It doesn't change what I recommend. If you don't care why, stop reading here and go read a review instead.

Longer version, for the FTC and for anyone who wants the actual details:

AI Productivity Review is supported partly by affiliate marketing. That means when you click certain links on this site and go on to sign up for or buy a tool, I may receive a commission from that company. This is standard practice across review sites, and the FTC requires that I tell you about it clearly, which is what this page is for.

A few specifics

You never pay more because a link is an affiliate link. The price is the same whether you go through my link or type the company's URL in yourself.

Not every link is an affiliate link. Plenty of tools I write about, I have no financial relationship with at all. I'm not going to clutter every paragraph marking which is which, but any page with affiliate links carries a short notice near the top, same as this one.

The commission does not affect the review. A tool that pays a higher commission does not get a better score than one that pays nothing. I've said no to a partnership specifically because I thought the product was mediocre, and I'll do it again. If that ever stops being true, email me and call me out on it.

Being sent a free trial, account, or product for testing purposes doesn't buy a good review either. Same rule applies: I test it the way I test everything else (see How I Test), and I write down what I actually found.

I don't run traditional display ads on this site right now. If that changes, this page will change too.

The short version you'll see on individual reviews

Every review or comparison that contains affiliate links carries this notice near the top:

This page may contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change what gets recommended

If any of this is unclear, or you think a specific page should be disclosing something it isn't, tell me. That's a fair question and I'd rather fix it than get defensive about it.
